Youri Ianakiev is a professor at the Department of psychology, Plovdiv university "Paisii Hilendarski". He completed his PhD studies at the University of Pau—Academy of Bordeaux, France. He recently led a research project focused on the diagnostics and risk prevention of stress-induced conditions in vulnerable professional groups (teachers, physicians, social workers, freelancers). His professional expertise is manifested in the management of the "National Program Prevention and Rehabilitation of Educational Specialists", aimed at developing an electronic portal for the diagnosis and prevention of the risk of burnout syndrome and the development of resilience. The electronic portal offers the first of its kind systematic approach to reducing stress and building psychological resilience in educational specialists. He has published more than 50 papers in various journals. His teaching disciplines include Social Psychology, Psycholinguistics, Social Knowledge and Behavior, Stress and Mental Health, and the Psychology of Optimal Experience and Resilience, and his interests include reducing psychosocial risks and their consequences for mental and physical health in the workplace (diagnosis and management of stress, burnout, anxiety, depression), building mental resilience in everyday life and in a professional environment, the development of leadership competencies, and the improvement of teamwork in organizations
Teodora Medneva is an assistant at the Department for Qualification and Professional Development of Pedagogical Specialists at Plovdiv University "Paisii Hilendarski". She holds master's degrees in Management Psychology, Human Resources Management, and Financial Management, providing her with a multidisciplinary approach to organizational dynamics and human interaction. Her dissertation focuses on the diagnosis and prevention of burnout syndrome, a topic she actively explores in her scientific publications. Teodora uses transactional analysis as a primary tool for stress prevention, concentrating on identifying and altering ineffective behavioral patterns that contribute to professional exhaustion and reduced personal effectiveness. This approach aids both individual and professional development, fostering awareness of internal dynamics and the creation of effective strategies to handle workplace challenges. She has undergone specialized training in motivational interviewing and therapy through decision-making revision, complementing her holistic approach to psychological support and personal growth. Teodora is a member of the Bulgarian Association for Human Resources Management and the Bulgarian Psychologists' Association.
