Stefan Linsler, born in 1980, is a distinguished neurosurgeon with a rich educational background and extensive clinical experience. He earned his medical degree and completed his residency in neurosurgery, achieving board certification in the specialty. Over the years, Linsler has held multiple roles within the neurosurgery department at the University Hospitals of Saarland, advancing from assistant physician to senior physician, and ultimately to the chief physician. In 2024, Linsler transitioned to the position of chair and full professor of neurosurgery at the Klinikum Bayreuth, part of the Medizincampus Oberfranken. His clinical expertise is complemented by a robust portfolio of scientific research, particularly in neuro-oncological studies and the establishment of an endoscopic skull base surgery group. Linsler has actively engaged in clinical trials related to brain tumors and has played a crucial role in developing new methodologies in endoscopic techniques. His dedication to research is evident through his regular reviewing of contributions to various scientific journals and his membership on different editorial boards.
