Dr. Md. Golam Rabbane is a professor in the Department of Fisheries at the University of Dhaka. In addition, he was a former Chairman of the Department of Fisheries from 2019 to 2020. Dr. Md. Golam Rabbane received his Ph.D. degree in Fish Developmental Biology, Aquaculture and Genetics from the University of Padova in 2013 under the prestigious fellowship of Erasmus Mundus (European Union). And he completed his post-doctoral fellowship at the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh. His research interests include aquaculture biotechnology, fish developmental biology and genetics, aquaculture nutrigenomics, aquatic toxicology, zebrafish-related research, and bioinformatics.
