Nouhaila Bahyoune is a PhD student since 2021 at Sultan Moulay Slimane University, Beni-Mellal, Morocco,
under the supervision of Professor Latifa BOUISSANE. She obtained a Master's Degree in Inorganic Engineering Materials in 2020 and a Bachelor's Degree in Analysis and Quality Control Techniques in 2018 from Sultan Moulay Slimane University, Beni-Mellal, Morocco. Her research is focused on studying theoretically the properties of organic and inorganic compounds for pharmacological applications. She has currently authored three papers.
Mohammed Eddahmi earned, from the Sultan Moulay Slimane University of Beni Mellal, a BSc in Chemistry Analysis Control in 2013, an MSc in Analysis Technics and Food Quality Control in 2015, and a PhD in Organic and Analytical Chemistry in 2020, based on the excellence scholarship afforded in 2016 by the National Center of Scientific and Technical Research in Morocco. He has received scholarships from the Department of Chemistry at the University of Aveiro in Portugal in 2018 and 2019. He is now working as a post-doc in the Laboratory of Molecular Chemistry, Materials, and Catalysis at the Faculty of Sciences and Technics of Beni Mellal. His work in organic and medicinal chemistry, catalysis, materials, and theoretical chemistry has resulted in 14 publications and 8 presentations at national and international conferences.
Perikleia Diamantopoulou received her BSc and MSc in Chemistry from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 2019 and 2021, respectively. Currently, she is a PhD Candidate at the University of Athens, working at the Institute of Chemical Biology of the National Hellenic Research Foundation under I.D. Kostas’ supervision. Her research interests are focused on transition metal homogeneous catalysis, including aqueous and asymmetric catalysis. She has also worked as a Chemical Analyst and a Chemist-Officer in the Water Quality Control Service, EYDAP SA. She has received a scholarship from the University of Athens, and she has teaching and supervision experience in the framework of her doctoral obligations. She is the author of two publications.
Ioannis D. Kostas received his Degree in Chemistry (Uni. Thessaloniki, 1986) and his PhD in Organometallic Chemistry with C.G Screttas (Uni. Athens, 1991). He worked as a post-doc at the Vrije Universiteit/Amsterdam (1994–1995) with F. Bickelhaupt and at the Max-Planck-Institut für Kohlenforschung (1995–1996) with M.T. Reetz. In 1996, he joined the National Hellenic Research Foundation in Athens as Research Director in 2007. He is the leader of the Group of Organic/Organometallic Chemistry & Catalysis. He was also the President of the Scientific Council of this Institute. He has
also been a Visiting Professor at the University of Thessaly. His research interests are focused on transition metal homogeneous catalysis and also organic and medicinal chemistry. He is the author of 50 publications, four book chapters, the editor of two special issues and two books, and he has participated in 95 international, European, and national conferences. He has extensive teaching and supervision experience. He has participated in 23 European and national projects. He is a member of the editorial advisory boards of several journals, such as “Catalysts”. He has co-organized several conferences and workshops. He has received prizes, awards, and distinctions, and he has been invited reviewer for proposals and fellowships in national, European, and American programs.

Latifa Bouissane is a Full Professor at Sultan Moulay Slimane University, Morocco. She jointly performed her PhD research
project at Sultan Moulay Slimane University, Morocco, and ICOA-University of Orleans, France. She spent five years in research stays in different Spanish research groups. She was awarded a DAAD Scholarship for University Academics
and Scientists to conduct a research project at Düsseldorf University, Germany. The Fundacion Mujeres por Africa awarded her a scholarship to run a research project at the Basque Country University, San Sebastian, Spain. Synthesis of pharmacologically relevant heterocyclic compounds, evaluation of the therapeutic potential of selected medicinal plants, theoretical calculations to study physicochemical properties of organic molecules, and development of LDH nanomaterials for catalytic applications are her central areas of attention. She is the author and co-author of 89 publications, editor of four special issues and she has participated in 70 international and national conferences. ORCID iD:
