Dr. Riley C. Hales is the research laboratory manager for civil and construction engineering at Brigham Young University. He received his master’s degree in civil engineering in 2021 and his Ph.D. in civil engineering in 2023, both from Brigham Young University. In January 2023, he joined Brigham Young University as a research laboratory manager. His research topics include hydrology, river hydraulics, numerical modeling, remote sensing, machine learning, GIS, sustainability, decision support systems, and early warning systems.
