Author Biographies

Mariam El Haddadi is a Professor and Researcher at the Moroccan School of Engineering Sciences (EMSI) and a member of the Pluridisciplinary Laboratory for Research and Innovation (LPRI). She holds a PhD in Economics from Hassan II University of Casablanca. Her research interests include applied macroeconomics, economic resilience to climate change, and sustainable management of water resources in Morocco. Dr. El Haddadi has published in several international academic journals and regularly participates in scientific conferences. Her recent work focuses on exchange rate pass-through to food prices, the effectiveness of inflation targeting policies, and the challenges of the green transition in North Africa.
Hamida Lahjouji is a researcher and lecturer in Economic Sciences at the Moroccan School of Engineering Sciences (EMSI). She holds a PhD in Economic Sciences from Hassan I University, Morocco, a Master’s degree in Finance and Accounting from the National School of Trade and Management (ENCG), and a Bachelor’s degree in Management from Hassan II University. Dr. Lahjouji leads the "Economics, Finance, and Management" research team within the Pluridisciplinary Research and Innovation Laboratory (LPRI/EMSI). Her research spans both conceptual and empirical macroeconomics, with a particular focus on income inequality, poverty alleviation, wealth distribution, and the achievement of the SDGs. In recent years, her academic interests have expanded to include the economic dimensions of environmental issues, such as CO₂ emissions, water scarcity, and the broader impacts of climate change.
Mohamed Tabaa, IEEE and ACM Member, received the degree of engineer in telecommunication and networking from the EMSI Casablanca, Morocco, and master in radiocommunication, and embedded electronic systems form university of Paul Verlaine of Metz, France. He received his Ph.D degree and HDR (Habilité à Diriger des Recherches) diploma in electronics systems from the University of Lorraine Metz, France. Since 2015, he has been the director and founder of the LPRI private Laboratory attached to the EMSI Casablanca, Morocco. His research interests include array of digital signal processing for wireless communications, embedded systems, Energy and IA.  He has served on the Organizing Committees and Technical Program Committees of several international conferences, including IEEE ICM, IEEE REPS&GIE, IEEE Systol, TMREES, POWER AFIRCA, INTIS, ASD, JDSI, FIoE. He is the editor of several special issues: Elseiver AEU - International Journal of Electronics and Communications, Sustainability and Energies.
