Prof. Tie Cai graduated from Shanxi Agricultural University in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in science and graduated from Shandong Agricultural University in 2013 with a doctorate in science. In 2014, he joined the College of Agriculture of Northwest Agriculture and Forestry University. From 2016 to 2019, he conducted research on the “Theory and Technology of Efficient Water Use of Crops in Arid Areas” at a postdoctoral mobile station of crop science of the Northwest Agriculture and Forestry University. He is mainly engaged in research on the theory and technology of crop stress resistance and yield increase cultivation. His specific research directions involve the mechanism and path of crop drought resistance and efficient water utilization, the theory and technology of wheat yield improvement and resource utilization, the mechanism of wheat lodging and lodging resistance regulation technology, etc.
