Alexandra Isabel Godinho Afonso received her Master's degree in Environmental Engineering from Instituto Politécnico de Beja in 2017, and is now pursuing a PhD in Chemistry at the Faculty of Sciences, University of Beira Interior. She worked as a research fellow at the Department of Applied Sciences and Technologies, Escola Superior Agrária de Beja, Instituto Politécnico de Beja (2018–2024). Her research topics mainly include: Chemistry, environment, wastewater treatment technologies, water reuse.
