Alessandra Perra is a Researcher at the Department of
Medical Sciences and Public Health, Università degli Studi di Cagliari,
Cagliari, Italy. She earned, a Ph.D. in Innovation Sciences and Technologies in
the field of psychiatric rehabilitation, at the University of Cagliari. She
graduated in Psychiatric Rehabilitation Technician and specialized in Health
Professions of Rehabilitation Sciences in the field of Public Health
Management. Her research directions include: Psychiatry, Bipolar Disorder,
Psychiatric Rehabilitation, Cognitive Remediation, and Human Rights.
Alberto Maleci is a Professor at the Department of Medical
Sciences and Public Health, Università degli Studi di Cagliari, Cagliari,
Italy. He is also a Specialist in Neurosurgery. he obtained the Specialization
in Neurosurgery at the University of Rome "La Sapienza". He worked in
vertebro-spinal surgery in Marseille and then at the Marino Hospital in
Cagliari where he directed the Neurosurgery Department from 1997 to 2011. He
currently practices surgery at the Villa Maria Clinic in Padua, the Rizzola
Clinic, and S. Donà di Piave. He mainly deals with brain tumors, spinal cord
tumors, spinal trauma, peripheral nerve surgery, degenerative diseases of the
spine, and spinal surgery.
