Prof. Dr. Mari Cruz Díaz Barradas is a professor at the University of Seville. She completed her Postgraduate Certificate in Biology on 30 September 1982 at the University of Seville and later earned her PhD in Biology from the same institution. From 2001 to 2017, she served as an associate professor at the University of Seville, Spain. She is a member of SIBECOL. Her research interests include stable isotopes, gender dimorphism, Mediterranean scrub, water relations, and gas exchange.
Prof. Dr. Juan B. Gallego-Fernández is Professor of Ecology in the Department of Plant Biology and Ecology at the University of Seville, Spain. He received his PhD in Plant Biology and Ecology from the Faculty of Biology at the University of Seville. He is a member of the University Institute for Latin American Studies at the University of Seville. His research focuses on the ecology, conservation, and restoration of coastal dune ecosystems. He currently teaches ecology at the School of Agronomic Engineering and the Faculty of Biology at the University of Seville.
Prof. Dr. María Zunzunegui is a professor at the University of Seville. She received her PhD in Plant Biology and Ecology from the University of Seville in 1997. Her main area of research is plant ecophysiology, with a particular focus on water deficit in coastal dune ecosystems. She is also interested in the application of stable isotopes as a tool to study plant responses to environmental conditions.
