Dr. Kateryna Metersky is an assistant professor at the Daphne Cockwell School of Nursing. She completed her BScN studies in Nursing at the Daphne Cockwell School of Nursing, Toronto Metropolitan University, in 2011, MN studies in Nursing at the Daphne Cockwell School of Nursing, Toronto Metropolitan University in 2013, and PhD studies in Nursing at the Arthur Labatt Family School of Nursing, University of Western Ontario, in 2020. Her research interests include international and cross-national collaborations and partnerships, persons with social, economic, and health challenges, nursing and interprofessional practice and education, and intersectionality and positionality in population-centred care.
Dr. Kristina M Kokorelias is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Occupational Sciences and Occupational Therapy, Rehabilitation Science Institute, the University of Toronto. She completed her B.A. studies in Gerontology at McMaster University in 2014, MSc studies in Health and Aging at Western University in 2016, and PhD studies in Rehabilitation Science at the University of Toronto in 2021. Her research interests include advancing models of integrated care, sex- and gender-based differences in family caregiving, and healthcare utilization patterns among diverse patient populations.
