Yingning Shen received her MSc in Built Environment: Sustainable Heritage from University College London in 2020. She began her PhD in Archaeology at Northwest University in China in 2022. From 2021 to 2022, she served as a research assistant at the Institute of Cultural Heritage, Northwestern Polytechnical University. Her research focuses on the intersection of urban heritage conservation and regional development.
