Dr. Kee Kim is a Professor of Neurological Surgery and the Chief of Spinal Neurosurgery at UC Davis. He is Co-Director of the UC Davis Spine Center that he founded in 2006. He received his B.Sc. from Yale University and his M.D. from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at UC Davis and complex spine surgery and radiosurgery fellowship at UCLA. He has a special interest and expertise in challenging spinal disorders requiring surgical treatment. He has vast experience in complex spine surgery, regardless of etiology, including tumor, infection, degenerative spine, and trauma. He is at the forefront of robotic-assisted surgery, minimally invasive surgery, and spinal instrumentation. He is a primary investigator for many clinical trials, utilizing state-of-the-art innovations to improve patient outcomes and advance the field.
