Yanling Wang is a Professor at the School of Ecology and
Applied Meteorology, Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology,
and a key teacher in the Jiangsu Province Higher Education “Qinglan Project”. She
received her Bachelor’s in Soil and Agricultural Chemistry and Master’s in Plant
Nutrition, both from Jilin Agricultural University, in 2001 and 2004,
respectively, and earned her Ph.D. from the Institute of Soil Science, Chinese
Academy of Sciences, in 2007. She was a Visiting Scholar at the Griffith
University (2011) and the Ecosystems Center of the Marine Biological Laboratory
in Woods Hole (2014–2015). Her primary research areas include soil phosphorus
chemistry and its environmental and ecological effects, soil carbon cycling and
greenhouse gas emissions, climate resilience and response mechanisms in soils
and crops, and cultivated land quality management and soil fertility
enhancement.
