Konstantinos Mastrothanasis holds a PhD from the Department of Primary Education at the University of the Aegean and is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. His research interests include applied theater for education, health and psychosocial well-being, with a particular focus on children and young people, especially during times of crises, pandemics and disasters. His work also emphasizes education, integrating innovative approaches to teaching and learning, and explores how art can be utilized as a tool for psychosocial development. He also teaches at multiple academic institutions, including the Open University of Cyprus, the University of the Aegean and ASPETE.
