Mohamed Reda received his Ph.D. in Intelligent Systems from the School of Engineering at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) in the UK. He received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Computers and Control Systems Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering at Mansoura University, Egypt. Since 2016, he has served as an Assistant Lecturer at the Faculty of Engineering, Mansoura University, and as an Associate Lecturer at UCLan’s School of Engineering since 2022. His primary research areas include artificial intelligence, meta-heuristic optimization techniques, evolutionary computation, and control engineering. Additionally, Mohamed has a strong interest in the application of AI and deep learning to embedded systems, biomedical systems, and robotics, with a particular focus on automated vehicles.
