Prof. Dr. Jiankui Chen currently works as a Professor and Doctor's Supervisor at Huazhong University of Science and Technology. He received his Bachelor of Engineering at Wuhan University of Technology in 2001. He obtained his Master of Engineering and his PhD at Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2006 and 2010. He stayed at the university as a teacher after completing his postdoctoral research in 2012. He conducts cutting-edge scientific research in the State Key Laboratory of Intelligent Manufacturing Equipment and Technology, focusing on the fields of flexible electronics, new displays, and artificial intelligence.
Prof. Dr. Zhouping Yin currently works as the dean, professor, and doctoral supervisor of the School of Mechanical Science and Engineering at Huazhong University of Science and Technology and the director of the State Key Laboratory of Digital Manufacturing Equipment and Technology. He received his Ph.D. in Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2000, and his doctoral dissertation won the National Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award in 2003. He served as an associate professor after completing his postdoctoral research in 2002. He was promoted to professor in 2004 and hired as a doctoral supervisor in 2005. In 2013, he was selected as a young and middle-aged science and technology innovation leader of the Ministry of Science and Technology. In 2014, he won the Ho Leung Ho Lee Youth Innovation Award. In 2016, he was selected as a national science and technology innovation leader. He is also a member of the Materials Department of the Science and Technology Committee of the Ministry of Education, a director of the China Artificial Intelligence Society, a director of the China Metrology and Testing Society, the chairman of the Hubei Artificial Intelligence Society, and an expert in the mechanical discipline of the National Natural Science Foundation. His main research directions include electronic manufacturing equipment and technology and intelligent manufacturing technology and applications.
