Dr. Justin Mausz is a clinician–scientist with the Peel Regional Paramedic Services, a member of the Temerty Faculty of Medicine in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Toronto, and a member of the Canadian Institute for Public Safety Research and Treatment (CIPSRT) Academic Research and Clinical Network (ARCN). His responsibilities include designing, conducting, and reporting on original research studies and program development and evaluation projects related to the service's strategic priorities. The majority of his work focuses on psychological health and safety for paramedics. He holds a Bachelor of Allied Health Sciences in Health Sciences from Ontario Tech University, a Master of Science in Health Science Education and a Doctor of Philosophy in Health Research Methods from McMaster University.
Dr. Alan Batt is Associate Professor of Paramedicine (adjunct) at Monash
University, Paramedicine Program Lead and Assistant Professor (adjunct)
at Queen’s University, and Assistant Professor (status) at the
University of Toronto. He is Co-Chair of the McNally Project for
Paramedicine Research, a Member of the Academy of Medical Educators, an
Associate of the Prehospital Care Research Forum at UCLA, a Senior
Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a Fellow of the Healthcare
Leadership Academy. His program of research uses mixed methods
approaches to explore health professions education, with a focus on
professional competencies, care of marginalized populations, and social
and structural determinants of health.
Dr. Elizabeth Donnelly is a Professor in the School of Social Work at the University of Windsor and an adjunct professor at Charles Sturt University. She holds a PhD in Social Work as well as a Master of Social Work (MSW) and Master of Public Health (MPH). Dr. Donnelly is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), a Fellow of the Academy of EMS (FAEMS) with the National Association of EMS Physicians, and a Scientist with the McNally Project for Paramedicine Research.
