Author Biographies

Tianfa Li currently serves as Director of the Intelligent Media Research Center at Jinan Supercomputing Technology Research Institute. A robotics and multimedia technology expert, he earned his Master's degree from Shandong University Robotics Research Center in 2020. His multidisciplinary research spans video coding/transmission, robotic control algorithms, and generative AI applications. Dr. Li has led significant technological breakthroughs across multiple domains: developing quadruped robot control systems (two JCR Q1 papers, three patents), pioneering real-time AV transmission for Kuaishou's cloud gaming platform (two patents), commercializing free-viewpoint systems for e-commerce, and engineering holographic conferencing solutions. Since 2022, his focus has shifted to generative AI, where he has already published two papers. His work consistently bridges academic research and industrial implementation, demonstrating both technical innovation and practical deployment capabilities.
Jingshan Pan, Researcher, Deputy Director of Shandong Computer Science Center (National Supercomputing Center in Jinan), Director of Jinan Supercomputing Technology Research Institute, Deputy of the 14th People’s Congress of Shandong Province, Vice Chairman of the 9th Committee of Jinan Association for Science and Technology, Secretary-General of the High Performance Computing Committee of Shandong Computer Society, and Deputy Secretary-General of the Big Data and Intelligent Computing Committee. He graduated from Shandong Normal University with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Education in 1997 and from Shandong University with a Master’s degree in Computer Technology in 2004. Since 1999, he has served as the Deputy Director of Shandong Computer Science Center (National Supercomputing Center in Jinan). Since 2023, he has held the position of First Natural Person Shareholder and CEO of Jinan Supercomputing Center Co., Ltd. He has led over 70 research projects, including national initiatives (863 Program, National Key R&D Program, NSFC) and provincial/industrial collaborations. He is the author of 30+ publications, 22 patents, and 30+ software copyrights. His awards include three First Prizes of Shandong Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award, First Prize of Science and Technology Progress Award by China Computer Federation, "Influential Jinan" Science and Technology Figure, Jinan City Class C High-Level Talent, and "Jinan Model · Glory Jinan" Award.
Ma Siwei‌, Boyaa Chair Professor at Peking University; recipient of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, IEEE Fellow, and Tencent Xplorer Prize; serves as the Lead Scientist of the National Key R&D Program and 863 Program, Deputy Party Secretary at Peking University’s School of Computer Science, Deputy Director of the National Engineering Research Center of Digital Media (Video and Visual Technology), and Vice Chair of the Multimedia Technology Committee of the China Society of Image and Graphics (CSIG). His research focuses on rate-distortion optimization for efficient video coding under resource constraints, with over 200 international journal publications and 80+ authorized invention patents. Honors include the National Technology Invention Award (First and Second Prize), National Scientific and Technological Progress Award (Second Prize), China Electronics Society Science and Technology Highest Award (Technology Invention), and Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Progress Award (First Prize).
Aleksandr Raikov, Chief Scientist of the Jinan Institute of Supercomputing Technology (Shandong, China), Professor, Doctor of Technical Sciences, PhD, State Advisor of the Russian Federation of 3rd class, Laureate of the 2024 Chinese Government Friendship Award for Foreigners, Laureate of the 2006 Russian Government Award in the Field of Science and Technology, Full Member of the Academy of Natural Science (Russia). Graduated from Moscow Power Engineering Institute with a degree in radio physics and electronics (1974), with a speciality in engineering and radio physics. For over 30 years, he served as a professor at the Russian Technological University and a leading researcher at the Institute of Control Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences. From 2000 to 2021, he served as the General Director of NSA Ltd. Between 1993 and 1999, he headed the Information-Analytical Department of the Russian President’s Administration and was the coordinator of the Situation Centre of the Russian President. Since 1999, he and his team have completed approximately 60 projects. Before 1993, he had developed automated control systems for the Russian Government, working at the Research Institute "Voskhod". Author of about 500 publications, including 17 monographs (three in English, Scopus), and 11 patents.
Alexander Arkhipov is the Chief Scientist of the Intelligent Media Research Center at the Jinan Institute of Supercomputing Technology in Jinan, Shandong province, China. He is a single Russian engineer and research scientist with a PhD in Computer Science from Kursk State Technical University. ‌Born on April 26, 1976‌, he specializes in pattern recognition, machine vision systems, image and radio signal processing, LCD and AMOLED timing controllers design, robotics control, and automatic control systems designing.His educational background includes a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science (1997), an MSc (Hons) in Computer Science (1999), and a PhD in Computer Science (2002) with a thesis on high-speed device for input and image pretreatment in video information recognition system. Arkhipov has received numerous awards and honors, including being a member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences (2023), receiving the Special Contribution Honor of the City of Kursk (2020), and the Special Contribution Honor of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation (2015). He also served as the Chief Engineer of Samsung Electronics in 2006 and was awarded a medal by the Russian Academy of Science in 1999 for his achievements in theoretical research and applied technologies. He has published over 120 papers in the field of pattern recognition, machine vision systems, and image processing, including 41 patented inventions and three books.
