Dr. Georgios Romanos is a Professor at the School of Dental
Medicine, Stony Brook University, former Director of Laser Education and
Professor (Prof Dr med dent) at the Univ. of Frankfurt, Dental School, Germany.
He is fully trained in Periodontics, Prosthodontics, and Oral Surgery in
Germany and Periodontics in the USA. He got a Board Certification in Oral Surgery
(Germany), And he is a Diplomate from the American Board of Periodontology. As an expert, he received various clinical and
administrative positions in Europe and NY. He has published over 400 papers in
various journals (h-Index: 87), over 24,000 citations, 8 dental books, and over
700 presentations worldwide. His research interests include collagen research,
Immediate Loading of Dental Implants, Laser Dentistry, Peri-Implantitis
Therapy, Bone Regeneration, Wound Healing, titanium nanoparticles, and ceramic implants.
