Prof. Dr. Jeffery S. Volz is the Associate Dean for Partnerships and a Lloyd G. and Joyce Austin Presidential Professor at the School of Civil Engineering and Environmental Science (CEES), the University of Oklahoma. He completed his BAE studies in Architectural Engineering at Pennsylvania State University, his MS studies in Architectural Engineering at Pennsylvania State University, and his PhD studies in Civil Engineering at Pennsylvania State University. His research interests include the combination of structural engineering and material science aimed at improving building and bridge structural systems, particularly regarding resilience and sustainability.
Dr. Shreya Vemuganti is an Assistant Professor at the School of Civil Engineering and Environmental Science, Gallogly College of Engineering, University of Oklahoma. She completed her B.E. studies in Civil Engineering at Osmania University in 2014, her M.S. studies in Civil Engineering (Structural Engineering Major) at the University of New Mexico in 2016, and her Ph.D. studies in Civil Engineering (Structural Engineering Major) at the University of New Mexico in 2021. She was awarded the Structural Engineering award from the Department of Civil Engineering, UNM in 2021. Her research interests include nano-synthesized cementitious materials, smart and sustainable material innovation using 3D printing technology, and ductile fiber-reinforced polymer composites.
