Dr. Sa Zhu received his B.Sc. and Ph.D. from the School of Electrical Engineering, Southeast University, in 2011 and 2017, respectively. He is an Associate Professor at Hohai University, Nanjing, China. He was invited to the Politecnico di Torino for a one-year visiting study from 2013 to 2014. His current research interests include permanent magnet machine design, loss calculation, and multiphysics analysis. Dr. Zhu won First Prize in the 2011 IEEE Industry Applications Society Myron Zucker Undergraduate Student Design Contest, First Prize in the Jiangsu Science and Technology Award (2019), and the Outstanding Scientific Research Achievement Award for Higher Education Institutions (Science and Technology) in 2023.
