Dr. Aniruddha Deka (B.E., M.Tech., Ph.D.) is an Associate Professor and Dean of the Faculty of Computer Technology at Assam down town University. He has a strong academic and research background, with prior experience as an Assistant Project Engineer at IIT Guwahati from 2006 to 2012, where he contributed to multiple research projects. From 2013 to 2022, he served as an Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Assam Royal Global University, where he was actively involved in both academic and administrative functions.
Dr. Deka has published over 30 research papers in reputed journals and conferences and serves as a reviewer for various academic publications. His teaching areas include Operating Systems, Database Management Systems, and Artificial Intelligence. His research interests lie in health informatics, signal processing, and image processing.
Dr. Debashis Dev Misra is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Assam down town University, Guwahati, Assam, India. He obtained a B.E. degree in Computer Science and Engineering (2004) from Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology, Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Karnataka, and an M.Tech. degree in Computer Science and Engineering (2011) from Rajiv Gandhi University, Itanagar, AP. He completed a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Assam Science and Technology University, Guwahati, Assam.
He has also worked for more than 4 years as a Senior Software Developer in the IT industry with a reputed MNC based in Bangalore. Dr. Misra is an expert in the field of computer networks, wireless communication, and artificial intelligence (AI). He has over 15 years of experience in academia and industry. He has contributed to the development of cutting-edge wireless routing protocols and technologies in the field of wireless communication.
Dr. Misra's research in the field of computer networks and wireless communication has led to notable progress in wireless routing algorithms and bio-inspired algorithms for optimization problems. He has also contributed to the application of AI-based algorithms in the field of public health and medicine. He has published numerous research papers in prestigious journals and international conferences.
Mrs. Anindita Das is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Assam down town University, Guwahati. She obtained a B.Tech. degree in Computer Science and Engineering (2019) from the Central Institute of Technology, Kokrajhar, and an M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (2021) from IIIT Guwahati. She is pursuing her Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Assam down town University, Guwahati.
She has experience in curriculum development and university administration. She served as a Technical Assistant at BITS Pilani for a period of 2 years and as a Thesis Supervisor at UpGrad, handling various theses of B.Tech., M.Tech., BCA, MCA, B.Sc. IT, and M.Sc. IT students. She has guided more than five students at the UG and PG levels and has published more than 11 research papers in reputed international conferences and two research papers in reputed international journals, along with one patent. She has reviewed various international conferences.
Her areas of expertise include artificial intelligence, computer vision, image processing, and audio-visual speech processing.
