Dr. Lilong Zou is currently a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Engineering, Computing and the Environment, Kingston University, London, UK. He received his B.S. and M.S. degrees from Jilin University, Changchun, China, in 2009 and 2012, respectively, and his Ph.D. from Tohoku University, Sendai, Japan, in 2016. From 2016 to 2018, he was an Assistant Professor at Tohoku University. From 2018 to 2019, he was a researcher at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) in Japan. His research interests include microwave sensing, nondestructive testing, and planet exploration. Dr. Lilong Zou received the Best Award from the Society of Instrument and Control Engineers (SICE) Conference, Japan, in 2014, the Best Research Award from the Information and Communication Technology for Safe and Secure Life (ICTSSL), Japan, in 2017, and the Best Paper Award of the Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers (IEICE), Japan, in 2021.
