Dr. Andrew J. Lew received his B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from UCLA in 2017 and his Ph.D. in Physical Materials Chemistry from MIT in 2023. He is currently a Senior Scientist at Spectral Sciences, Inc. Prior to SSI, Dr. Lew was a Senior Director at C3 AI, responsible for coordinating an enterprise AI program to automate analyst workflows for a Fortune 500 client. His research interests combine machine learning, physics-based simulation, and experimental observation for the acceleration of scientific discovery. Among others, his research has been featured on the cover of Advanced Materials and promoted as a Featured Article in Applied Physics Reviews.
