Dr. Brian Deegan is a Lecturer in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the Ollscoil na Gaillimhe—University of Galway. Dr. Brian Deegan completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering (2004) and his M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering (2005) at the University of Limerick. He then received his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the National University of Ireland (2011). Prior to his current position, he was a Vision Research Engineer focusing on Image Quality at the Valeo Vision Systems. His research interests include the relationship between sensor performance and machine vision KPIs.
