Gabriella Punziano, Ph.D. in Sociology and Social Research, is Associate Professor of General Sociology at the Department of Social Sciences, University of Naples Federico II, where she teaches courses in methodology with a focus on mixed and digital methods. She is a member of MMIRA, ESA, ISA, AIS and secretary of the Methodological Section of the Italian Sociological Association (AIS). Her research interests include: social research methodology; mixed and digital perspectives; social policies and welfare regimes; the analysis of public, institutional, and political communication phenomena; the study of risk communication on social and digital platforms; the socioeconomic impacts on the Third Sector; changes in individual behavior; risk governance; science communication; and the role of experts in the Covid-19 era.
