Yuhao Huang is a PhD student in urban planning and design at the Faculty of Innovation and Design, City University of Macau. He graduated in 2023 with a Master's degree in art design from Zhejiang Gongshang University. He has published over 20 papers in renowned journals, such as Guangdong Landscape Architecture, Zhejiang Landscape Architecture, Chinese and Foreign Architecture, Central China Architecture, Art Research, Frontiers in Art Research, and Arts Studies and Criticism. His main research interests span multiple cutting-edge areas in architecture and planning, with a broad and in-depth focus on interdisciplinary studies.
Zibin Ye is a PhD student in urban planning and design at the Faculty of Innovation and Design, City University of Macau. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Design from the City University of Macau in June 2022 and a Master of Urban Planning and Design from the City University of Macau in June 2024. His main research areas cover multiple cutting-edge fields, including transportation, planning, and ecological environments, with a comprehensive and in-depth approach to interdisciplinary studies.These areas include (1) smart cities; (2) the scientific analysis of rural settlements; (3) studies on vernacular habitats; (4) transportation planning in urban analysis; (5) ecological city development in urban planning analysis; (6) cross-border mobility in urban planning analysis; and (7) intergenerational travel patterns in urban planning. His research emphasizes not only theoretical innovation but also has a strong connection to practical applications, particularly in interdisciplinary studies that integrate travel behavior analysis with machine learning and urban planning.
Qian Zhang holds a Master' s degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from the University of Southern California and currently serves as a faculty member in English education at a higher vocational institution in Zhejiang. She is also a council member of the first board of directors of the Wenzhou Translators Association. Her primary research interests encompass English language teaching, intercultural communication, and the dissemination of Wenzhou's intangible cultural heritage. She focuses particularly on college English curriculum reform and language services and cultural communication in an international context. Her research aims to bridge language education with cultural heritage, promoting cross-cultural understanding and the global visibility of local traditions. She has led or participated in several key research projects, including one provincial-level demonstration project on ideological and political curriculum reform, a 2024 Zhejiang Educational Science Planning Project, and a 2024 Wenzhou Philosophy and Social Sciences Planning Project. In addition, she has been a key contributor to one general project under the Zhejiang Provincial Philosophy and Social Sciences Planning Program (2024), and two Zhejiang Provincial Educational Science Planning Projects (2021, 2022). She has also published multiple academic papers in provincial and national-level journals, focusing on language pedagogy, cultural translation, and applied English education.
Yile Chen holds a PhD in architecture from the Faculty of Humanities and Arts, Macau University of Science and Technology, graduating in 2024. She completed a master’s degree in urban planning and design at the Faculty of Innovation and Design, City University of Macau, in 2020. She has published over 40 papers in prestigious SCIE, SSCI, and A&HCI journals, including the International Journal of Architectural Heritage, Heritage Science, Open House International, Journal of Asian Architecture and Building Engineering, Island Studies Journal, Buildings, Applied Artificial Intelligence, Geocarto International, Frontiers in Earth Science, Atmosphere, and Sustainability. Her primary research interests include artificial intelligence technology, the scientific analysis of healthy human settlements, and the application of spatial information technology in cultural heritage protection. She focuses on cutting-edge research in architectural technology for high-density urban forms and healthy environments and on the preservation and renewal of urban and architectural cultural heritage in Macau and Portuguese-speaking regions. She is also a member of the PLOS ONE Editorial Board and serves as a peer reviewer for numerous SCIE, SSCI, A&HCI, and ESCI journals, including internationally renowned publications, such as the International Review for Spatial Planning and Sustainable Development, Journal of Asian Architecture and Building Engineering, and Frontiers of Architectural Research.
