Dr. Chau Chun Beh is a Senior Research Fellow in Minerals, Energy, and Chemical Engineering at the Western Australia School of Mines (WASM), Curtin University. She completed her PhD in Chemical Engineering at the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia, in 2013. Her research interests include critical minerals, recovery of rare earth elements, extraction of lithium, recycling of blackness, supercritical fluid extraction, hydrometallurgy, mineral processing/beneficiation, powder, and particle technology.

Prof. Dr. Jacques Eksteen is the Chair for Extractive Metallurgy at the WA School of Mines; Minerals, Energy and Chemical Engineering. He completed his B.Eng. studies in Chemical Engineering—Mineral Processing at Stellenbosch University Faculty of Engineering in 1993, M.Eng. studies in Extractive Metallurgical Engineering (Process Engineering) at Stellenbosch University Faculty of Engineering in 1995, and PhD studies in Extractive Metallurgical Engineering at Stellenbosch University in 2004. He is also the Program Lead for Technology Readiness Level Progression for the Commonwealth Funding Trailblazer program on Critical Minerals and Resources Technologies. His research interests include Hydrometallurgy, Mineral Processing/Beneficiation, and Pyrometallurgy.
