He is currently a lecturer at the School of Marxism, East China Normal University. He graduated from the Department of Chinese Language and Literature Education at Anhui Normal University; his master’s degree is in Chinese Philosophy from East China Normal University, and his Ph.D. is in Western Philosophy, also from East China Normal University. He later conducted postdoctoral research at the School of Marxism and the Department of Philosophy, East China Normal University. His research interests include Chinese philosophy, hermeneutics, and Marxist philosophy. He also serves as a council member of the Shanghai Confucian Association.
Dr. Dimitra Amarantidou is currently Senior
Instructor of Philosophy at the University of Macau. She holds a BA in English
Philology and Linguistics from Athens University (Greece), an MA in Chinese
Studies from Nanjing University (Nanjing), and a PhD in Chinese Philosophy from
East China Normal University (Shanghai). Her research focuses on early Confucian
thought, particularly on irony, humour, and paradox. She is also book review
editor (China/Southeast Asia) for 'Philosophy East and West'.
