Mansoor Sabzali is a third-year PhD candidate at the University of Newcastle, where he is developing advanced calibration methodologies for terrestrial laser scanning. His research integrates techniques from photogrammetry, optics, geodetic network design, and machine learning. He previously earned a Master's degree from the University of Stuttgart, focusing on the atmospheric effects of long-range terrestrial laser scanning. Mansoor has extensive professional experience in 3D data acquisition and surveying across Asia, Europe, and Australia.

Lloyd Pilgrim is the Head of the Discipline of Civil Engineering, Surveying and Environmental Engineering, School of Engineering, The University of Newcastle, having held academic positions at both the University of Newcastle and the University of Sydney. Lloyd has significant experience working for a global organisation in the photogrammetry and spatial information industry. Research interests include laser scanning, the calibration of instrumentation, photogrammetry, and 3D modelling.
