Michele Danilo Pierri, MD, PhD, is a permanent Consultant Cardiac Surgeon with a High Specialization Appointment for Data Coordination, Scientific Activity, and Research at Azienda Ospedaliero Universitaria delle Marche in Ancona, Italy. He graduated in Medicine and Surgery and specialized in Cardiac Surgery at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, and obtained a PhD in Cardiovascular Physiopathology. Since 1999, Dr. Pierri has held senior roles in cardiac surgery and participated as principal investigator and sub-investigator in multiple clinical studies. His professional interests include applying technology and artificial intelligence to healthcare, medical data management, and innovation in cardiac surgery.
