Dr. Anna Miskova is an associate professor of obstetrics and gynecology at Rīga Stradiņš University and head of the Birth Centre at Rīga Maternity Hospital, the largest perinatal facility in Latvia. She specializes in fetomaternal medicine, with a research focus on maternal morbidity, preterm birth, and obstetric ultrasound. Dr. Miskova leads national initiatives on improving perinatal care quality and is actively involved in clinical audits and healthcare policy development. She combines academic, clinical, and managerial roles to advance evidence-based practices in obstetrics. Dr. Miskova also serves as a council member of the Latvian Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
