Dr. Mehmet Hayrullah Akyıldız is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at Dicle University, Turkey. He earned his Ph.D. in Building Materials from Sakarya University in 2011, following his M.Sc. in Civil Engineering and B.Sc. from Near East University. Dr. Akyıldız has over two decades of experience in geotechnical engineering, infrastructure materials, and waste reuse in construction. His research focuses on sustainable road materials, soil stabilization, and the engineering use of industrial by-products. He has served in multiple administrative roles, including as Director of Bismil Vocational School and Head of the Transportation Division at Dicle University. Dr. Akyıldız has supervised numerous graduate theses and led several national research projects on innovative construction materials and environmental geotechnics.
