Alfonso Trezza is a Research Fellow at the Department of Biotechnology, Chemistry, and Pharmacy at the University of Siena. He obtained his European Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Siena in 2019. He has published his works in many renowned journals in the fields of Structural and Molecular Biology and Computational Biology. His strong interest in molecular modeling, computational docking, and molecular dynamics simulation led him to participate in many research projects globally. He has expertise in Bioinformatics methods aimed at Target and Drug discovery, protein evolution, and folding fields. He is a reviewer for Frontiers in Genetics, section Computational Genomics. He is a member of the organizing committee of Sciences@Si.
