Dr. Jiri Klema received an MSc. (Ing.) with honors in Computer Science and a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence and Biocybernetics from Czech Technical University in 1994 and 2002, respectively. He is an Associate Professor at the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Czech Technical University, Prague. He is also the Deputy Head of the Department of Computer Science, with responsibility for teaching. His research interests include machine learning, data mining and decision support, and bioinformatics.
