Author Biographies

Lidija Mary McKnight received her Bachelor of Science in Archaeology from the University of York. She graduated from The University of Manchester with Master in Science, Biomedical and Forensic Studies in Egyptology, and Ph.D. in Egyptology. She is currently a Senior Research Associate at the The University of Leicester. She also serves as an Honorary Lecturer and Honorary Curator of Archaeozoology at Manchester Museum where she passionately works towards improving accessibility to cultural collections, to enhance learning and to promote interaction with the people of the past, particularly for the underrepresented groups within the visitor demographic. Her research interests focus on the non-invasive study of mummified human and animal remains from ancient Egypt.
