Jun Sun is currently a Professor and a Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Electrical and Information Engineering, Jiangsu University. China. He is a Senior Member of the China Society of Agricultural Engineering and a member of the Modern Physical Agricultural Engineering Committee of the China Agricultural Machinery Society. He received
a master’s degree in Agricultural Electrification and Automation from Jiangsu
University in 2003 and a doctorate in mechanical electronics from Jiangsu
University in 2005. His research interests are food quality; nondestructive detection; hyperspectral imaging; spectral analysis; sensory sensing; chemometrics; and machine learning. In recent years, he has won the second prize in China’s industry–university research cooperation innovation results, the second prize of the China Federation of Commerce Science and Technology Progress Award, and the third prize of the Jiangsu Province Education Science Research Results Science and Technology Progress Award.
