Rimma Zhaxylykbayeva is an Associate Professor in the Department of Press and Electronic Media, Faculty of Journalism, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Almaty, Republic of Kazakhstan. With
a wealth of experience in both academic and practical aspects of journalism, she has contributed to numerous publications and has a strong commitment to advancing the field of journalistic education in Kazakhstan.
Aizhan Burkitbayeva is a doctoral student in the Department of Press and Electronic Media, Faculty of Journalism, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Almaty, Kazakhstan. She obtained her master's degree in journalism with a specialization in data journalism in 2021. Since 2023, she has been pursuing her doctoral studies. Her research focuses on ethical issues in professional journalism and the practical application of digital tools in journalism. She has 7 years of professional experience in the field of journalism and is currently a member of the Union of Journalists of Kazakhstan.
Baurzhan Zhakhyp is a Professor in the Department of International Journalism, Faculty of Journalism, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, holding a doctorate in of philological sciences. Dr. Zhakhyp is a laureate of the Kazakhstan Writers' Union Award and a corresponding member of the Kazakhstan Academy of Journalism and the National Scientific Academy of Higher Education of Kazakhstan.
Klara Kabylgazina is an Associate Professor in the Department of Press and Electronic Media, Faculty of Journalism, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Almaty, Republic of Kazakhstan. She is the co-author of the textbook Radio Journalism published under the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the author of over one hundred journalistic and scholarly articles.
Gulmira Ashirbekova is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Printing and Publishing, L.N.Gumilyov Eurasian National University, and a PhD candidate in philological sciences. Her research focuses on the influence of digital transformation on journalism practices, particularly in the context of media independence and the ethical challenges faced by reporters in the contemporary media landscape.
