Naseem Abbas graduated from the University of Engineering and Technology and received his B.S. and M.S. in Engineering in 2012 and 2015, respectively. After graduation, he was a Lecturer at the University of Central Punjab (2015–2016). Then, he received his Ph.D. from Chung Ang University, Seoul, South Korea, in 2020. He became a Postdoctoral Researcher at Korea University (2020–2021) and the Korea Institute of Science & Technology (2021–2022). He is now an Assistant Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Sejong University. His research interests include metal-enhanced fluorescence, virus and bacteria detection, micro/nano-imprinting, biosensors, plasmonics, gas sensors, micro/nano-design and fabrication, glass molding, microarray technology, microfluidics, orthopedic metallic implants, heat transfer, and nanofluids.
