Dr. Jing Gu currently works as an Associate Professor at the School of Artificial Intelligence, Xidian University, China. She is a member of IEEE, a member of CCF, a key member of the Key Laboratory of Intelligent Perception and Image Processing of the Ministry of Education, a key member of the International Joint Research Center of Intelligent Perception and Computing, and a key member of the International Joint Laboratory of Intelligent Perception and Computing. In 2007, she obtained a bachelor's degree in electronic information engineering from Xi'an University of Technology, and a master's degree in engineering in 2010. In the same year, she was admitted to Xidian University to pursue a doctorate in pattern recognition and intelligent systems and obtained a doctorate in engineering in 2016. Her research interests are 1) research and application of machine learning and computer vision methods; 2) intelligent image and video understanding and analysis; and 3) big data management and analysis.
