Author Biographies

Dr. Ercan Kacmaz is a faculty member at Nevsehir Haci Bektas Veli University, where he teaches courses in English and American literature. He received his Ph.D. in American Culture and Literature and conducted his postdoctoral research at Harvard University, focusing on Ralph Waldo Emerson and the concepts of selfhood and transcendence in American thought. His academic work explores the intersection of literature, philosophy, mysticism, and comparative studies, particularly within the American Romantic tradition. With over a decade of teaching experience, Dr. Kacmaz has presented at numerous international conferences and is a member of several professional societies. His publications continue to examine the themes of self, truth, and spiritual transformation in literary traditions.
