Svitlana Slobodian received a BS (2003) and a MS (2004) in Major of Mathematics and Education from the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University. She earned, from the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, a PhD in Major Probability Theory and Mathematical Statistics (2008). Title of PhD thesis: Theorems on the normal limit distribution of the number of false solutions of the system of nonlinear random equations in the field GF(2). PhD advisor: Volodymyr Masol. Her current position is Associate Professor at the Department of Mathematical and Functional Analysis, Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics, Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University, Ukraine. She is the member of ASA (American Statistical Association) Community; participated in summer workshops of the Baltic-Nordic-Ukrainian Network on Survey Statistics. Her research interests include Keywords: multidimensional statistics, pseudorandom sequence, randomness, statistical testing, algorithms, digital steganography, econometrics, DML; survey statistics.
