Dr. He Wei is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at California State University (CSU), Fresno. His laboratory specializes in nanomaterials, analytical sensing, spectroscopy, and their biomedical applications. Dr. Wei earned his Ph.D. from the Department of Chemistry at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) on nanomaterials and their biomedical applications. Before joining CSU Fresno, Dr. Wei continued to work on nanomaterials for their biomedical use as a Postdoctoral Associate, Senior Postdoctoral Associate, and ultimately as a Research Associate (Scientist level) in MIT's Department of Biological Engineering. Dr. Wei is a member of the International X-ray Absorption Society and the American Chemical Society.
