Prof. Bildirici earned her PhD in Economics, with a focus on Econometrics, from Marmara University. She has been appointed as Assoc. Prof. and Prof. in Economic Policy at Yildiz Technical University (YTU). Specializing in energy economics, financial econometrics, and nonlinear modeling, she has contributed extensively to esteemed international journals. Her work on nonlinear time series, chaos and financial econometrics has garnered international interest. Additionally, she serves as a reviewer and editor for various journals and is a distinguished researcher at YTU's FEAS research center. Prof. Bildirici's impactful research has earned her numerous awards and recognition at YTU for her international contributions.

Prof. Dr. Özgür Ömer Ersin earned his PhD in Economics from Yildiz Technical University. He became an Assoc. Prof. specializing in Development Economics. He was appointed as the head of the Dept. of Economics of Beykent University, and as a member of the Scientific Research Project committee. Afterward, he was appointed to the Dept. of International Trade in the Faculty of Business of Istanbul Ticaret University, where he also contributes as a counselor at the Economics and Finance Research Center. He is recognized for his publications on the economics of sustainability, development economics, energy economics, econometrics, financial econometrics and neural networks. He also serves as an editor and reviewer for prestigious international journals.
