Senior Research Scientist at The Institute of Landscape Ecology of Slovak Academy of Sciences, her research work focuses on the biodiversity of agricultural land, meadow, forest and alpine ecosystems, and ecosystem services. Participation in Long-Term Ecological Research (LTER): an experimental study Global Litter Degradation Study − TeaComposition, participation in the solution of ALTER-Net Framework Program projects: an experimental study on the decomposition of Teatime4science. Work on research projects of the Slovak grant agency VEGA, APVV; international projects including projects of the 6th and 7th EU framework program EBONE, OpenNESS, GLORIA Europe and the EEA ETC BD project. Member of the Slovak Committee MAB UNESCO. Expert in the World Network of Mountain Biosphere Reserves.
