Mashrur Sakib Choyon is an engineer and researcher specializing in smart systems, sensor technologies, and production management. He earned his Erasmus Mundus Joint Master's Degree in Smart Systems Integrated Solutions (SSIs), studying across Finland, Hungary, and Norway. Currently, he serves as an Engineer and Production Manager at Zimmer and Peacock AS in Norway, where he leads the development and deployment of advanced electrochemical sensors for applications in healthcare, agriculture, and environmental monitoring. Mashrur's research interests encompass IoT-enabled diagnostics, biosensor integration, and sustainable technology solutions. He has contributed to several publications, including conference proceedings, journal articles, and book chapters, reflecting his commitment to advancing knowledge in his field. Prof. Erik Johannessen received his Ph.D. degree in bioelectronics in 2002, and has been working both in industry and academia over the past +20 years. His track record include miniaturised electronics for medical applications spanning thermoelectric sensors, electronic pills, implantable glucose sensors and glucose fuel cells. His current research interest focus on bio- and nanoelectronics, mobile analytical devices, and remote autonomous systems.
