Hasler Iglesias is currently working as an environment R&D technician at CETENMA (Technology Center for Energy and the Environment), based in Cartagena, Spain, and is a PhD candidate in economics and business at the University of Santiago de Compostela. He holds a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering and a specialist's degree in international oil politics and commerce from the Central University of Venezuela; a master's degree in public management from the Institute of High Studies of Administration (IESA); and a master's degree in economic development and innovation from the University of Santiago de Compostela. His research interests include circular economy, sustainability, innovation, economic development, public policy, and international energy politics.
