Hao Yang is a lecturer serving as a
full-time faculty member in the College of Media Engineering at the
Communication University of Zhejiang. He completed his PhD in Computer Software
and Theory at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences
(UCAS) from 2008 to 2014, during which he was recognized with the Three Good
Student Pioneer award. Since 2015, he has been serving as a faculty member in
the College of Media Engineering at the Communication University of Zhejiang.
His research interests include data visualization and urban–rural planning.
Shaowei Chu is an Associate Professor
originally from Liaoyang City, Liaoning Province. He obtained his Ph.D. in
Computer Science from the University of Tsukuba, Japan, in 2013 and has been
affiliated with the Digital Media Technology Program at Communication University
of Zhejiang since 2015. Dr. Chu has received recognition through the Flying
Eagle Talent Incentive Program at Zhejiang Media College. His teaching
encompasses a range of subjects, including human–computer interaction, 2D small
game development, and Java programming design. His primary research interests
lie in human–computer interaction technologies, with a particular focus on
tactile and gesture interaction interfaces. He has successfully led and
completed a youth project funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of
China, as well as a basic public welfare project in Zhejiang Province. Dr. Chu
has authored over 20 academic publications, including more than 10 papers
indexed by SCI and EI. Additionally, he holds three authorized invention
patents and serves as an executive member of the Human–Computer Interaction
Committee of the China Computer Federation.
Hao Zeng is a
lecturer currently serving as a full-time faculty member in
the College of Media Engineering at the Communication University of Zhejiang.
He obtained his bachelor's degree in Software Engineering from Nanjing
University of Posts and Telecommunications and subsequently earned both his
master's and PhD degrees in Computer Science from the University of Leicester,
UK. His PhD studies were supported by a full scholarship from the University of
Leicester, with his research interests focused on software formalization
methods and data visualization techniques. Hao Zeng has extensive experience
teaching computer science to undergraduate and postgraduate students in the UK.
During his time there, he held several positions, including Research Associate
at the Higher Education Academy, Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at
the University of Leicester, and part-time lecturer at De Montfort University.
Youbing Zhao is a lecturer with a
background in Computer Science and Engineering. He obtained his undergraduate
degree from Zhejiang University, China, in 1998 and later earned his Ph.D. in
Computer Science and Technology from the same institution in 2005. Dr. Zhao
served as a Research Fellow at the Centre for Computer Graphics and
Visualization at the University of Bedfordshire, UK, from September 2008 to
July 2018. Subsequently, he continued his research at the same center from
October 2018 until June 2024. He then held a lecturer position at the
Communication University of Zhejiang, China, before joining the University of
Derby, UK, as a lecturer in August 2024. His research interests encompass data
visualization and big data analytics.
