Intae Ryoo received his Ph.D. in information and communications engineering from the University of Tokyo in 1997. He worked as a senior researcher at Samsung (1997–1999). In 1999, he moved to Kyung Hee University and is now a professor at the Department of Computer Engineering in Kyung Hee University, South Korea. His research topics mainly include Internet of Things, wireless sensor networks, and cyber security.
